how to house train dogs at night.
i am disabled . have to wake up and let the dogs out.
Put them in a crate a night, this will certainly train the dog not to eliminate in there as it becomes their ‘den’.
Best wishes

Weve had about 3 dogs in the past several years. Right now we only have 2 cause we had to euthanize Annabelle but we always put Sophie and Gracie in a cage at night when they were pups. That will teach them to not go to the bathroom in there little "den" cause lets face it, nobody wants to crap where they live unless theyre doing it in the right place and it will teach the dogs that in the house is not the right place.
But not if I could only get Gracie to stop chewing on stuff so we dont have to leave her in the cage when we’re not home -.-

I have to second crating the dog at night. I have two dogs. One is older(9) and the other just turned a year this weekend. We still have the little guy in a crate at night. He is a tiny mutt (5lbs) and just can’t hold it all night long. We have a lined litter box in the back of a large crate so that he can go to the potty and not make a mess in his crate and doesn’t have to bother us to go outside. This has really helped with him being so little. Our older dog, a pit mix was crate trained for the first year of his life. As he has gotten older he has gotten into a routine and has no need to be crated.
Also keep your dog on a feeding and drinking schedule. This helps in keeping them on a potty schedule. We stop giving the dogs water about 2 1/2 hours before we go to bed for the night. Then we make sure they go potty outside before we go to bed. As for food, the big dog eats twice a day (in the morning and at dinner). The little dog needs to eat more ( in the morning, after my daughter comes home from school, and after our dinner). They both get a snack at around 9ish, and nothing else. We follow the schedule as closely as possible, and this helps keep accidents at bay for us. Hope this helps. Good luck!

crate train them……go out and get some crates at like walmart or somewhere and at night put them to "bed". they may whine or bark at first but trust me their fine. Before just sticking them in though…..just sit the crates out…with like some treats in them and let the dogs explore them on thier own…..then give the crates a name like "bed", "crate" or something you can call it so your dogs know what your talking about. A dog will not usually go potty in thier bed….which is what thier crate will be. In the morning let them out and take them straight outside
good luck
