   i commend you on your calm manner in which you handle yourself with your dog.. however i did have slight issues with this video.. you should never be on a eye to eye level with your dog, you are giving commands from a higher up postion and must remain in that stance.. body language is everything to dogs… also i wasnt too impressed with throwing food to make him stay.. it was confusing to the dog, and with such an important command as you stated it should be taken more seriously..

   if you put your hands on the dog for corrections it makes them think they are introuble when you reach to pet them…. i was told to do this by a friend while training my bird dog and now my he lays down and thinks he is introuble when i go to take the bird out of his mouth

    This started out well, but why are you making eye contact and putting your hands on the dog a bad thing? I don’t want my dogs to associate that with punishment or corrections.
    If you set the dog up for success by not asking for too much too soon, building distance and duration slowly, then the dog has no reason to try to break the stay. A broken stay means no treats or no play. That’s the only “punishment” needed. If they break, then punish yourself for not explaining it clearly to them.

    i gt a staff dats about 8 or 9 months old and when you get the leesh out he sumtimes gets aggresive and when playing jumps on you a lot and bites when not on leesh any 1 know how to control him lol message me if you do
