What is the best dog training book to buy?

I just got 2 rescue dogs a 7 month old and a 6 month old Great Danes. I need to do some training. Help! What is the best book to buy? Also for names do you like Mindy, Wendy or Tina For the Female?

I found this book excellent in every way. Very easy and simple instructions and very good information on all aspects of dog training, problems tricks etc.

By far the best book to read is The Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson. I have read many books on dog training and so far I have found that one the most helpful. Its Me or The Dog is a great show to watch to also help learn more about positive training. It’s on Animal Planet and the new shows always air on Saturday night. Another great website to visit is http://www.askdryin.com. She also has videos on youtube under SuperBark1.
