Dogs are the best friend of everybody. It is loyal and obliging. However, you will need to train the dog carefully before it is able to be your best friend. In fact dogs are brilliant and can be tough. Only when you train your family pet, getting him to stay put in a place is important. It will be very frustrating to have your guest being uncomfortable when your dog is pouncing or jumping around. Conversation is impossible when you have to search for your dog continuously in the park because it just does not stay in one place. By giving this instruction, this instruction, you already have the dog sitting obediently in one place.
Actually this isn’t a question at all but a sort of rant in some attempt to discuss obedience training. I think you are very much in need of more experience in actually training dogs before you make such an attempt. Your ‘question’ is false on face ad dogs are not the ‘best friend of everyone’. Many can be loyal and obliging but many can be quite the opposite. I agree that they do need to be trained and have been training dogs and people to train dogs for many decades. I am assuming you meant that ‘dogs are brilliant and can be taught’ instead of ‘tough’ – they can actually be both and/or neither. Like any animal, they are individuals and have individual characteristics and capabilities – many are not ‘brilliant’ at all and are quite difficult to teach and can have difficulty retaining, much like people
Anyone ignorant enough to let their dog off lead at a park when the dog will need to be ’searched’ for likely hasn’t got much going in the way of the art of conversation anyway. Your post makes little or no sense whatsoever.

Can any one tell me of any Dog Training Books
I’ve tried various Dog Training books which are ok but through experience the best method is to go to puppy traing classes where the pups can socialise with other dogs. You also learn and it is like a good workout when you take part. You also meet friends with similar interests

I’d like to know how much dog obedience training usually costs
Or even where I could personally learn how to train and influence my dog’s behaviors.
Thank you for helping
obedience classes are usually five to six weeks in length , and cost between $ 125 dollars to $180. Look for a trainer that uses positive reinforce training methods in teaching dog training Private lesson may cost you as much as $50 per session , which last for one hour. Group less ions are usually one hour. The best time to start training a dog is when he/she is 6 months old. En roll your dog in puppy classes, and than in the beginning dog training class and than in the immediate and later on in the advance class . Each level takes 5 or 6 weeks to complete. Many dogs if they start early enough get to the immediate level when they are four months old. There are some basic Dog Training techniques like , food luring to get you dog to focus on you that you can do on your own. If you find a dog training class in your area , you can go there and ask the trainer if you can sit -in on one of his/her classes to see if it fits your needs This will give you a chance to evaluate the class , ask questions, and do not be shy about asking the trainer about his/her experience and references. Good luck
How do i train my dogs how to run a deer?
30 Sep 2009
I had 6 dogs already that ran deer but they were all lost last hunting season. I now have 8 walker dog puppies and i have never trained dogs myself how can i train them could i use deer scent or do i need a fur or should i buy an older dog already running deer?
Some have it in their blood, but others need to be trained. Get them a deer hide to smell and chew on. Thake them out and put them on tracks to follow, and then, during the season, let them run with an experienced dog.
Can anyone recommend any dog training books?

Can anyone recommend any good Yorkshire terrier training books.I’m getting a puppy and would like it to be trained well. Thank you.
"It’s Me or the Dog: How to Have a Perfect Pet" by Victoria Stilwell.
She uses positive methods that are very easy for anyone with any level of dog experience to execute. For example, you don’t want your dog to jump on you? Turn around and face the opposite direction when the dog is jumping, fold your arms over your chest, and completely ignore the dog and be totally BORING. When a dog is jumping it usually wants attention so if you show the dog that jumping gets him exactly the opposite of what he wants, he’ll stop.
Easy, right?
Plus, positive methods are much better for a dog’s mental health and help to build a dogs self confidence.
Another one I highly recommend: "Before and After You Get Your Puppy: The Positive Approach to Raising a Happy, Healthy, and Well-Behaved Dog" by Ian Dunbar. Not quite as accessible as the Victoria Stilwell book, but this guy is one of the top professionals in the Dog Training world and has a PhD in animal behavior. He is also the guy who is the father of the concept of puppy obedience class.
Good luck, and good for you for actually wanting to train your Yorkie, rather than treat it like a fashion accessory
